Colanut (Bizzy) Powder

Jamaican Bizzy (same as Bissy), otherwise known as cola nut/ Kolo nut or bizzy nut, is the seed pod that grows on the small kola nut tree. Jamaican bush doctors will swear by the effectiveness of the Jamaican bizzy for health benefits. The lowland forrest tree can only thrive in hot, humid climates, such as the Caribbean. The bizzy tree originated from the African continent. The kola nut supports menstrual cramps, jaundice, gout, diabetes and rheumatism. Also, the plant is known to calm the nerves and reduce fatigue and hunger. Kolonut is also known to support weight management; persons trying to lose weight take the kolonut because it naturally increases the body’s metabolism.
